Labour for a New Democracy – campaign update – online

Keir Starmer kicked off the election year with a speech delivered in Bristol, in which he called out a political system that just isn’t working: “Trust in politics is so low, so degraded, that nobody believes you can make a difference any more.”

What we all know – and what the Labour Party officially recognises – is that the flaws in our First Past the Post voting system are driving precisely this kind of distrust and alienation in politics.
