Public meeting: Enough is Enough | Thursday 10 November | 7pm | Orange Box young people’s centre, 1 Blackledge, Halifax, HX1 1AF

This public meeting has been called by local supporters of the Enough is Enough, People’s Assembly and all anti austerity campaigns – including local trade unions and community organisations.

The vast majority of people are being hard hit by the Tory government’s failure to address the cost of living crisis:
*Energy prices rising to more than £4,000 from April 2023
*Food prices rising by 10.5%
*Rents are at their highest rate ever

The government’s strategy includes wage cuts, slashing welfare support, worse terms, union-busting, deregulation, elimination of environmental protection and the fight against climate change, and privatisation.
