Silk Mill Festival

All unions and their members are warmly invited and welcome to join us for the march and following Festival with music, community and TU stalls, speeches and commemorative chaplet laying to the historic Silk Mill workers who were locked out by their employers in 1833/4 for failing to accept a pay cut and renounce their rights to be a Trade Union member-sound familiar?

The march starts in Debry Market Square and will parade through the streets to the Festival site at Cathedral Green.
