The New Foundations – Launch Event

Politics for the Many are delighted to launch The New Foundations, an important collection of essays at Open Labour’s 2021 Conference on 21st March.

The British state is a legacy of an empire and society long since transformed by technological and social upheavals.

So why hasn’t it evolved?

In The New Foundations, a bold new collection of essays, thinkers from across the left detail the inherently conservative nature of the British state and how it impacts the possibilities of a transformative Labour government succeeding.

The launch event, at 7pm on the 21st, will feature a discussion between the Electoral Reform Society’s Dr Jessica Garland, Christine Berry and Maya Goodfellow – it is free to attend for those with tickets to the conference.
