World Day of Social Justice
February 20

The World Day of Social Justice aims to raise awareness of the need to build fairer, more equitable societies.
On 26 November 2007, the UN General Assembly (UNGA) designated 20 February as World Day of Social Justice. The Day recognizes that social development and social justice are indispensable for achieving and maintaining peace and security within and among nations, and that social development and social justice cannot be obtained in the absence of peace and security or in the absence of respect for all human rights and fundamental freedoms.
